Do you know what you are doing in the gym??

So I’m on holiday in their gym when a lady comes in and goes on the treadmill for 10mins, does a back extension on an abdominal machine (that’s old and not worth doing) and an attempt at a low row exercise, has a stretch and then leaves. Sound familiar? Firstly it’s early enough to go […]

So I’m on holiday in their gym when a lady comes in and goes on the treadmill for 10mins, does a back extension on an abdominal machine (that’s old and not worth doing) and an attempt at a low row exercise, has a stretch and then leaves. Sound familiar? Firstly it’s early enough to go for a walk outside before it gets hot. The benefit alone of uneven terrain and some Vitamin D and fresh air would be better. She wasted her time on a treadmill and didn’t do any of the exercises correctly. I practically had to restrain myself from going over and helping her and offering advice. I later heard her complaining to her friend she hadn’t lost any weight fromĀ  “keeping fit” … hmm wonder why. It got me thinking as I saw another 3 ladies come in and not touch the weights that this is a common occurrence from women all over the world. They all looked at me like I was mad when I was bench pressing some dumbbells and then doing upper body exercises and asking the men if they had finished with the 14kg’s.

it really got me thinking.

How can I help?

How can I educate women into exercising correctly and getting the results they need?

Well one at a time or maybe a few at a time, but I want anyone to let me know if this sounds like you or someone you know. Let me help.

Let me show you how to use that scary machine your not quite sure about in the gym. I want to help because if I see another women come into a gym, walk on a treadmill holding on, leave and think she is going to get serious results… I may scream!!
